Vac Techniche Vacuum Coating Systems

Vac Techniche  DSCT has been developed to exceed the requirements for SEM/TEM sample preparation.
The compact and easy to use sputter coater, with onboard Turbomolecular Pumping.
Use supplied backing vacuum pump or your own, all controlled with the  processor controller.

Sample preparation using sputter coating is the recognised method for non-conductive and low conductive specimens or samples, this system is also suitable for optical coatings.

The Vac Techniche Desktop Sputter Coater enables thin film sputter coating of noble metals: gold (Au), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt) and gold/palladium (Au/Pd) on non-conductive or poorly conductive samples or devices.

Onboard processor integration makes the Desktop Sputter coater an ideal laboratory and research tool for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy analysis(TEM).

One of the benefits of our DSCT design is the rapid pump-down time making it a production tool in addition to a research instrument, for applications such as optical coatings.
Thin films are deposited in with fine gas flow control producing repeatable results when used in Automatic mode.

Touch Screen Control

DSCT-Turbo Pumped Sputter and Carbon Coater with 7-inch color touchscreen and full automatic control and data input allows even inexperienced users to operate the system.
Vacuum, current, and deposition information are displayed as digital data or curves on the touchscreen. The system also saves information on the last 300 coatings in a history page.

Sample Holders

DSCT-Turbo Pumped Sputter and Carbon Coater offers versatile sample stage configurations to accommodate various user needs. The sample stages are designed for easy rotation, adjustable height, and quick interchangeability. For uniform coating of porous specimens, you can opt for the rotary planetary sample stage as an additional feature.

Pulsed Carbon Fiber

The compact chamber of the DSCT is equipped for pulsed carbon fiber evaporation, offering enhanced control over deposition through the use of brief pulses. This innovative approach not only ensures more precise deposition but also substantially minimizes the generation of debris typically associated with conventional carbon deposition methods.
 

Sample Holder of Vacuum Carbon Coater

A new 4-inch roating sample holder is designed for the system to increase the deposition area and the number of coating stubs in arun (customizable for max. 50*1mm stubs)

Attachment

  • DSCT  has the facility to accommodate carbon coating attachment, ideal for SEM/TEM preparation, using a separate attachment keeping the Carbon coating away from the sputtering head avoiding and cross contamination issues.
  • Carbon Rod evaporation is also available on request.
